Kashmir is undoubtedly the silicon valley of India. The place is the residence of Lord Shiva at Himachal. Divine nature, beautiful kaftans, classic tea kettle and pot set, kehwa tea, wooden houses, and iconic carpets these are the essence of the place. Himachal is the power house of ancient medicines that can heal almost everything. Saffron, apple, peaches, walnuts and many other dry fruits grow here in abundance. Many saints have resided here and done their holy yagyas.

Violence on Kashmiri Pandits
The place is so magnificent that the whole world was in awe of the beauty of it. So they decided to play a silent game and turn this heaven into hell. The slow war was against the life and property of Kashmir. They decided to kill each one of the Kashmiri resident by killing them or forcing them to leave the place. Women of Kashmir were mistreated. Children became homeless.
Many Kashmiri pandit died during this. Many left the place in fear of death. And Indians were unaware of this act. Media showed kashmiri pandit kids hitting Indiam Army. They never told the reason behind it. They never reported the deaths hanging on trees. When some honest officers asked for help from central government. It never helped instead was secretly supporting the terrorism for personal benefits.

It is devastating. The movie left such deep impact on me that I couldn’t sleep properly the day I watched it. Our brother and sisters wanted us to know about the violence they were undergoing. But Internet ban at the place and fake media news never allowed the news to reach us. This movie is an eye opener. I thank the actors Anupam Kher, Pallavi Joshi, Amaan Iqbal, Mithunda, Darshan Kumar, Prakash Belawadi, Puneet Issar, Bhasha Sumli and everyone else who are part of the movie. I would like to specially thank Amaan Iqbaal to be part of the movie even though he is a muslim. I am glad he understands that Kashmir genocide was not about Hindu – Muslims. It was using Muslims against Hindus, using Indian army against Kashmiri pandits.

I really appreciate PM Narendra Modi that he is now taking the initiative in bringing back the soul of Kashmir ( Kashmiri Pandits ) back to their home. I thank him for bringing Article 370 for the state. I am happy that this movie has opened up the eyes of every citizen of India who doesn’t stay there but was not aware of it. We together stand with Kashmiri pandits. We want the heritage temples of Kashmir back. We want the freedom of Kashmiri pandits back. The void will always stay in my heart about the loss they had undergone in their own country. One day things will be fine. My heart prays for the peace of families who lost their lives in the struggle.
