Between The Pages

The book ‘ Between The pages ‘ is a short story ebook  written by a dear friend Romila.

I love reading short stories as the author says that short stories are utilisation of the extra time that we have while waiting for some appointments or traveling. Short stories are my favourite in literature, and love reading them the most. My favourite short story writers are Roald Dahl, Ruskin Bond and Enid Blyton. I was reading Roald Dahl these days where I have to read 15 books by him by the end of December but then I took a break and opened the book Between The Pages this morning to read something about love and coffee tales on cold mornings.

More about the stories –

There are short stories in the book revolving round love, coffee, depression and self realisation. The book is perfect partner for a short journey on a cold or rainy day. When I read the stories I felt those stories clinging to heart. Somewhere at some point in life I had those moments in my life too which I just kept  up to myself and never had that spark in me to bring them on paper but as I read this book I can relate to that broken side of me, the one which can’t decide whether to live or die, the one which is lost because of unlucky relationships. Life becomes a mystery at times. And I found this little book a sad one, just as if somebody gave words to my pain. I feel attached to all the stories and importantly to the loneliness and the author after reading the book. I hope you grab the book and read about the side of you which you hide from everyone.

My favorite book by the author is The Three Flowers, It was just magical. Waiting to read many more books by the author real soon as those are the words that have special attachment on heart and leaves a impact for long, the book is a healing, I felt like I am sharing and talking with the stories in the book.
