About Panna Cotta Italian Desert –

panna cotta recipe

Panna cotta is an amazing classical Italian dessert made with cream. It is easy to make and the cream in it can be flavoured too by adding some essence.  Here is the best panna cotta recipe by Chef Rahul Bhatt.

Ingredients required to make best panna cotta recipe –

  1. 1/3 cup skimmed milk ( skimmed milk is the one from which whole cream has been removed )
  2. 1/2 tbsp unflavored gelatin
  3. 1/2 cup heavy cream
  4. 1/2 cup white sugar
  5. few drops vanilla essence

  Panna cotta recipe –

  1. Pour milk into a small bowl, and stir in the gelatin powder. Set it aside.
  2. In a saucepan, stir together the heavy cream and white sugar, and set over medium heat.
  3. Bring to a full boil, do this step carefully, as the cream will quickly rise to the top of the pan.
  4. Pour the gelatin and milk into the cream, stirring until completely dissolved.
  5. Cook for one minute, stirring constantly. Remove from heat, stir in the vanilla essence and pour into six individual ramekin dishes. ( confusedabout ramekin dishes, look below to find more about them).
  6. Cool the ramekins uncovered at room temperature. When cool, cover with plastic wrap, and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, but preferably overnight before serving.
Enjoy it chilled, panna cotta is ready.

We can also garnish it with some eatble flowers at the top.

Panna cotta is one of my favorite dishes, actually. 🙂 Have had it many times, but my favorite is a mango flavored one!

Thank you for the recipe. I might give it a try sometime!
